It is paramount for us to protect the health, safety, and the well-being of all participants. As the Covid-19 situation in Taiwan changes every day, we have studied and evaluated the announcements, guidance, and news released by relevant authorities.

After careful discussions and deliberations, we believe it is not an appropriate timing to hold large in-person gatherings. Instead of physical events, 2021 Summer Summit pivots to support selected projects to develop their proposals with research fund.

SOC organizes Summer Summit for the purpose of gathering scientists, researchers and students together to work on prospective ideas in AI computing and applications in the way of providing facilities, spaces, accommodation, and so forth. Despite the restrictions on gatherings, SOC would like to continuously subsidize the final four teams.
