Bottom-Up Research: AI Sustainable Future Stars Program
In 2015, the United Nations announced 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030, aiming to address global development issues.
In response to the direction of global sustainable development, NCKU SoC aims to cultivate young faculty and researchers with the potential to conduct forward-looking AI academic research, and to cultivate students with the ability to develop AI technology through research program regarding:
-
AI technology
-
Cross-disciplinary integration capability
-
Vision for sustainable development
-
Experience in industry-academia and international cooperation
Through the research program, we will cultivate Future stars with: AI technology, cross-domain integration capability, sustainable development vision, industry-academia and international cooperation experience, and propose AI sustainable development plan by taking advantage of the diversified fields of the nine colleges of NCKU.
This program is centered on AI technology and aims to solve the sustainability problems that may be encountered in the future AI era. Faculty and researchers with existing projects or programs are encouraged to apply for additional flexible funding from Miin-Wu School of Computing to deepen and broaden the goals of their original projects in order to produce more impactful research results.
